What else is possible for 2019?
Hello all!
I'm generally not a big fan of New Year's resolutions, I find that they're often a set-up for disappointment and self-judgment. But what I do like to do at this time of year, and it's a practice that I recommend for my clients, is to reflect on the year that's ending and come up with some things I'd like to leave behind in that year. I then look at the coming year, and come up with some intentions, or targets, for what I'd like to bring into existence.
Since it's a process that I do yearly, I include in my reflection an acknowledgment of what targets I achieved and which ones I may not have in the year that's ending. If I would like to keep working on those that haven't actualized yet, I ask myself, "What would I have to be or do that's different that would allow me to have a different outcome with this?"
So for example, in 2018 I created some great things with my business and personal life, including traveling all over the world (3 trips to Europe alone, including a bucket-list trip to Iceland, a place I've been longing to see since I was a kid), connecting with and forming relationships with some truly phenomenal people, facilitating more online classes on really interesting topics, increasing my income, being asking to speak at various events and conferences, facilitating Conscious Recovery groups and retreats and filming content for a video e-course, and much, much more.
I feel really good about these accomplishments and I'm looking to expand on all of them even more in 2019, to include more traveling and facilitating workshops globally, growing my business with a new premium 30-day coaching program, debuting the Conscious Recovery e-course and Facilitator's training program, adding to my support team, and reaching even more people who are seeking ease, joy and glory in their lives.
On a more personal level, I'd like to leave all self-judgment, doubts, walls/barriers and hiding behind in 2018. I'm making a commitment to stop playing small and to allow my light to shine even brighter and more authentically, with more vulnerability and willingness to be me, regardless of how others respond. I would like to be the change in the world that I'd like to see, a world of lightness, communion, freedom, play, fun, and abundance. I'd like to empower myself and others to go beyond the limitations and restrictions of this reality, to empower ourselves to create lives of infinite possibilities.
What is it that you would like to birth in 2019? What contribution can I be to that?
And finally, thank you all for the contribution you have been to my life and business. Without you, I would be a lone voice in the wilderness. What else is possible when we create together?
Warmly,
|
