Seasonal Greetings

My family and I have just arrived at my wife’s family’s farm in Iowa. This photo is taken from their front door, looking to the north on this cold winter’s night.

It’s hard to believe we are just a day away from Christmas, Hanukkah has already passed, as has the Winter Solstice. As I read the greetings circulating among IBF colleagues, I am reminded of how special and important our ties are in the Federation. As I prepare to enter the last nine months of what has been a wonderful six years serving as your President, the friendships formed with so many of you are relationships I will treasure for years to come. Thank you.

On behalf of the entire Board, Michele, Jorge, Paul, Mark and myself, I wish you a very special season. May you have restful and renewing days with those whom you love. And may 2019 bring us all together again, joining in the important work of deepening the therapeutic connections with patients and supporting our colleagues.
