Ryan Mauro is the Director of the Clarion Intelligence Network, a group that tracks extremist activity throughout the world, and regularly provides information to law enforcement and policymakers.
Though primarily focused on Islamist extremism, Mauro’s work at CIN includes providing intelligence on “left-wing” and “right-wing” extremists such as anarchists, white supremacists, communists, cults, and hostile foreign-influence operations.
Mauro’s group is a division of the Clarion Project, a non-profit educational organization where he serves as the National Security Analyst. The Clarion Project has produced the documentaries “Obsession,” “The Third Jihad,” “Iranium,” “Honor Diaries,” and its most recent film, “Faithkeepers,” about the persecution of Christians and other minorities. Clarion’s films have been seen by over 50 million people.
