Now that 2018 is almost over, we are writing to ask once again for your support. Our mission is to be an inclusive community of makers and enthusiasts whose purpose is to promote awareness, inspire creativity, and foster appreciation for the heritage and artistry of basketry. With your support NBO continues to fulfill our mission.

Memberships and earned revenue don’t cover the total cost. It is contributions from generous supporters like you that help us make up the 15% difference in our budget. We are well on our way to our goal of $25,000. Please make your gift today.

 
Here are a few ways we will put your donation to work:
 
• Publishing our flagship magazine. Every issue is designed to inspire you, educate you and introduce you to talented basket makers.

• Continuing our exhibition program including our Members In Print exhibition which be a biennial program.

• Producing our Tenth Anniversary Conference. There’s an exciting group of workshops featuring nationally renowned instructors. 

• Making sure that NBO is an organization that is welcoming to everyone. Whether you are a maker, an enthusiast or perhaps both there is room in our group for you. We support your passion for the art and craft of basket making.
