Dear CSI Friends, Partners, and Donors:

Childbirth Survival International (CSI) kicked off 2018 with optimism and energy to invest in its mission and impact lives. A strong network of donors, partners, volunteers, and generous individuals made 2018 an incredible year for individuals and families in underserved communities in the US and in sub-Saharan Africa. Throughout the year, we hope you enjoyed our shared updates, CSI's fifth anniversary, and positive impact of key grassroots interventions such as free cervical cancer screening and prevention, or the scholarship program for girls who were forced to drop out of school, or the basic childbirth kit that increases chances of mother-baby survival during childbirth and post-childbirth. In case you missed, CSI's videos during the year, you can see our entire collection on CSI's YouTube channel.

As we conclude the fourth quarter and CSI's fiscal year 2018, we want to say Thank You to everyone who made social impact and progress possible. We are proud of our work and are eager to build on gains made in saving lives of pregnant women and newborns, reducing unintended pregnancies, increasing number of girls going to school, supporting internally displaced families, improving quality, access, and delivery of health services at the grassroots level, and remaining at the front lines to ensure health literacy and equity are advanced. CSI cares and impacts lives through partnerships, funding, and applying multiple lenses of equity and cultural competency.

We are enthusiastic about 2019 and hope you will stand with us at the front lines and in the communities that we tirelessly provide and deliver services to. Please continue to
support CSI because our collective efforts are truly making a difference.

We wish you a healthy and happy holiday season, and success in the year to come.

Our Warmest Regards,
Childbirth Survival International Leaders and Staff
