Apis Information Resource News

Dear Subscribers:

The December 24, 2018 edition of Apis Information Resource News has been published to the patreon site.  It  contains information on loss of insect biodiversity, measured by what is known as the "windshield effect."  A review of Project Apis me activity in terms of Varroa and hygienic behavior research is also examined.  Check out analysis of an idea to use the honey bee's immune system to develop a vaccine for American Foulbrood.

Information about Australian beekeeping, analysis of the evolving climate change/global warming debate, an outline of two posts from the Western Apicultural Society, research by Sam Ramsey's research Varroa feeding on honey bee fat bodies,  and much more.

The evolving Apis Information Resource News Digest is designed to publish analysis not found elsewhere and with a different focus than found anywhere else on the World Wide Web.

In the spirit of the season, I offer to this list something I recorded sometime ago before my horrendous cancer surgery almost two years ago. I got lucky; they can find no recurrence; and my voice is slowly recovering.
