Good Morning,

2019 is quickly approaching and the New Year’s resolutions are being made…lose weight, make more money, spend time with family and friends. These are all great resolutions, but what about resolving to better one of the most important things in your life, your mental health?

Rice Psychology Group has put together 3 easy steps people of all ages can take to prioritize mental health in 2019!

1. Believe it or not, one of the best things you can do for your mental health is engage in some sort of strenuous exercise several times per week.

2. Spend face to face (no, not through a device!) time with people you enjoy. This can include friends, family and/or coworkers. Of course, I include my 4-legged, furry family members on my list. If your list is very short or non-existent, make 2019 a year to find positive and enjoyable people for your life.

3. If you are concerned about a mental health issue that’s causing you distress or is negatively impacting your life, please don’t just ignore it. Reach out to someone you trust like a friend, physician, clergy or a licensed mental health professional (such as a psychologist).

You Matter To Us!
Rice Psychology Group wants to say thank you for helping us make 2018 a great year! We are looking forward to the new year with excitement and positivity and we hope you are doing the same! If you feel you need a little help prioritizing for the new year or just want to talk, please feel free to reach out to our office in Tampa today! We wish you all a very happy New Year filled with good health, joy and lots of love!

All my best...
