Looking ahead to 2019...

Greetings <<First Name>>!

“One thing I learned is that you can't get tied to an idea. Constantly be open to reevaluating your strategy as you obtain new information.”

- Marc Lore (Walmart.com)

This has been the theme of my 2018.  In writing and content creation (and pretty much anything in life), failure is the name of the game.  I’ve tried a lot of initiatives this year - the Bourgeois Brief, a new podcast show format, a new Instagram account.  Some things were well-received, some were not.  Some were easy to execute, others were labor-intensive.  Everything didn't work as planned, and I didn't bounce back from the failures like I needed to.

As I look forward to 2019, I’m aiming high and filling my to-do list with lots of lofty aspirations.  But I’m also working on creating a structure which enables me to achieve my goals and maintain a steady stream of content all year.  And, I'll continue to experiment.

I want to try new approaches to my content, reinvent some existing properties, and continue to evolve.  I hope that you’ll join me on the journey in the New Year.

Below, I’ve pulled together some of Uptown Bourgeois’ most popular content from the year.

Happy Holidays and look out for new content in 2019!!

Best,

Jefferey
