You have targets to hit, meetings to attend and customers to keep happy. Taking time out to scan the horizon for changes that will have an impact on the future of the organisation and your role within it is probably a luxury you can't afford to dedicate much time to right now.

I continuously scan articles and analyst reports and regularly attend and participate in numerous conferences and events across the world, looking for changes in the TIPS (Technologies, Innovations, Patents and Startups) that are fuelling and accelerating change across society, industry and the individuals within.
