$12 Million from NHMRC to tackle the world's biggest killers

The George Institute was awarded $12 million for research into chronic kidney disease, septic shock, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.

Dr Margie Peden appointed Deputy Chair of the Road Traffic Injuries Research Network

Our partnership with global road safety network RTIRN has been strengthened with the appointment of Dr Peden, Head of The George Institute’s Global Injury Program.
 
The network, which focuses on road safety in low-and-middle-income countries, is comprised of 1,733 researchers from 124 countries. READ MORE…
