One of our promises with our unique subscription based Membership model is that we forward any financial advantage, related to the included extensions, to our customers. Every quarter we re-investigate our cost prices and adjust them if necessary. For the first quarter of 2019 we will change prices of six of our extensions.

Price changes .dk
|

Effective from the 1st of January, the Danish registry DK Hostmaster has introduced a couple of price changes: the price for a .dk domain increases, a fee for changing the holder of a domain name – a so-called “trade” – has been introduced and receiving invoices may come at a price.

Plesk narrowed down the list of supported operating systems
|
|
|
According to the Plesk lifecycle policy, Plesk only provides software patches and assistance for Plesk instances running on supported operating systems. However, Plesk has also been releasing updates (including PHP version updates) for Plesk instances running on non-supported OSes.

Price increase .cat and .bb domains
|
|
|
Effective from the 1st of March 2019, the price for new .cat registrations will increase with €1.00. Effective immediately, the .bb (Barbados) extension and its second level domains .com.bb, .net.bb and .org.bb have increased in price.

Latest updates on the new gTLDs
|
|
|
- .law and .abogado will simplify their registration process: from the 9th of January 2019, the “accreditation” fields (ID, body, jurisdiction) are no longer required. Instead, a declaration is required in which the registrant acknowledges to qualify for the domain.
- .homes has shortened its trademark claims period to the 15th of April 2019 (instead of the 31st of December 2019).
- .moscow and .москва have extended their trademark claims periods to the 4th of January 2020 (instead of the 4th of January 2019).
- Trademark protection service TREx has extended its portfolio with .de, .xyz, .college and .rent.
