SoHOP - off to a good start - hosting team needed
We are writing to let you know that the first 3 sessions of 24/1 have gone really well.
So far 52 people from 20 churches have been involved and we've prayed through the 24 topics of intercession for Southampton three times.
People are coming to the drop-in sessions between 9am and 6pm on Saturdays. This weekend there were 13 people who came to pray during the drop in times. This is great - we want people to be able to just come and meet with God and join in the intercession.
But to make it work we need more people to join the hosting team. Could you spend 3 hours once a month being a host?
The primary role of the hosting team is to welcome people as they enter the building and ensure they know how to use the prayer room. Some visitors may benefit from a cup of tea and a chat or want advice on prayer.
