Dr. Nancy Scherich, University of California, Santa Barbara
Lots of people love braiding, from hairdressers to mathematicians! Dr. Scherich has been a dancer all her life, and recently decided to mix together her passions for math and dance. The 2017 winner of the “Dance Your Ph.D.” contest will discuss how she uses dance to teach the mathematics of braids. Learn more→
