FASD Sessions 2019

This two-day conference will be held in Saskatoon on February 26^th – 27^th. Our theme this year is ‘Strategies & Support,’ with a focus on providing real-life examples, tips, and strategies to help our attendees offer support to individuals impacted by FASD.

FASD Sessions will include rich content, keys takeaways, networking opportunities, and presentations from experts actively working in the field of FASD including Dr. Mansfield Mela and Shana Mohr, with a keynote presentation by Nate Sheets, an FASD behavioural consultant from Oregon Behaviour Consultation.
 
This conference will be beneficial for anyone who works with or supports individuals with FASD.

Free Post-Secondary Student Event

The Network is offering 'FASD Facts & Snacks,' a free, resume-building event for post-secondary students to learn about FASD and prepare for their future careers. This event will be held in three locations but register now before spots fill-up.

Tuesday, January 29th - Saskatoon (SOLD OUT)
Monday, February 4th - Regina
Thursday, February 14th - Prince Albert 

Students in programs as diverse as social work, child care, education, nursing, addictions, corrections, etc. will benefit from this workshop which includes free coffee, pastries and lunch.

FASD Training for Frontline Workers

The next Frontline Training will be held in Saskatoon on Monday, February 11th. For only $50.00 this full-day training provides an overview of the primary disabilities and how they relate to an individual's behaviours as well as practical strategies for support.
