Whether it is the history or the quality, Domaine de la Romanee-Conti is perhaps the most-renowned estate in Burgundy. These are argued to be the finest expression of Pinot Noir in the entire world. DRC has been owned by the Villaine and Leroy families since 1869 and make wines from eight Grands Crus, two of which are owned by the domain itself (La Tache and Romanee Conti).
