Learn from Judge Maguire about Hearsay in the Real World

On behalf of the Yolo Superior Court:

On January 15, 2019, at 12:15 p.m. in Department Three, the Yolo Family Law Group will meet, and Judge Maguire will present on Hearsay in the Real World. The presentation has two goals: helping the audience develop an instinctive "feel" for hearsay (there's no time for reflection during trial), and highlighting some common pitfalls and underappreciated opportunities in making and responding to hearsay objections.  The program is geared towards family law counsel, but may be useful to all trial lawyers. No CLE is provided. All are welcome, and no RSVP is required.
