Services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND)
 
Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will soon be visiting Suffolk to review the progress of SEND services since their last visit. During the re-visit, Ofsted and CQC inspectors will be keen to speak to as many children and young people and their parents and carers as possible.

Here's how to get involved

We've previously told you about the online survey. There's still time to participate - It's open until 12 noon TODAY (Friday January 18).

An open meeting will take place on  Monday January 21 at the Elizabeth Room, Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX  from 12 noon. If you would like to attend please email Suffolk Parent Carer Network on admin@spcn.org.uk with your name and telephone number so they can plan for your attendance and alert you to any changes to the meeting plan.

Supporting good mental health for the NHS workforce

NHS West Suffolk CCG has signed an employer pledge with Time to Change – committing to encourage staff to talk about mental health issues, promote good mental wellbeing and challenge stigma in the workplace.

OneLife Suffolk has published its latest brochure for health walks across the county.

All the walks are free, last between 30 - 90 minutes and are graded to suit your ability.

Community Engagement Group - new date
 
The next meeting in public of the CCG's community engagement group will take place on Monday January 28 from 1.30 - 3.30 p.m. in Room 14, West Suffolk House, Western Way, Bury St Edmunds.
