Dear Friends,
The international gut microbiota event of the year is almost here! Join us for a weekend in sunny Miami at the Gut Microbiota for Health World Summit on March 23 and 24, 2019.
Gut microbiota science is a fast-moving field, with new papers being published on a daily basis. Our blog post below gives a general overview of how the field has evolved in 2018.
"Our program for the summit is designed to update healthcare professionals on the latest research and how lessons learned from the laboratory may translate to patient care," says Gail A. Hecht, Co-Chair of the 2019 GMFH Scientific Committee. Dr Hecht and her colleagues on the committee have put together a one-of-a-kind program for the Gut Summit 2019, which places a special emphasis on the link between gut microbiota, diet, and nutrition. The focused workshops led by global experts will cover topics such as FODMAPs and irritable bowel syndrome, along with a range of metabolic diseases.
Don't forget -- the final registration deadline for the conference is January 15! And you can also follow all the action from the Gut Summit via Twitter using the hashtag #GMFH2019.
