Tuesdays, January 15 - April 2
9:30-11:30am or 6:30-8:30pm
Anger. Fear. Joy. Sadness. Shame. Praise.
These are just some of the emotions captured in ancient Israel's book of prayer, the Psalms. They are real prayers written by real people experiencing real life in real ways. In this eleven-week study on the book of Psalms, we'll experience how God uses these prayers to lovingly reveal himself to us. And in turn, we'll use the Psalms as both a guide and language for our response to God. God reveals, we respond, and through it all, we grow in prayer - the art of conversation with God. Please join us!
Bingo Night & Potluck
Thursday, January 24 at 6:00pm
Join your fellow NextWomen for a fun night of bingo (and prizes, of course)! We will provide the bingo and the beverages - you bring your church potluck specialty.
Visit the website to find out more information and sign up to bring something.
Join Women at IBC for a special night of encouragement for moms. Moms of young children will be discussing Brave Moms, Brave Kids: A Battle Plan for Raising Heroesby Lee Neinhuis, and moms with an empty (or almost empty) nest will be discussing Empty Nest: What’s Next?: Parenting Adult Children Without Losing Your Mindby Michele Howe. You’ll enjoy meeting new friends who are in the same phase of motherhood as yourself, and then have a chance to connect with moms who are slightly ahead of you or behind you on the journey.
Cost per person: $5. You are responsible for purchasing the book (whichever one is relevant to you) and reading it prior to the book discussion.
Know. Love. Go. Save the date for the OneDay Experience on Saturday, April 6. We're excited to announce that JoAnn Hummel will be our keynote speaker. More details will be coming soon.
