Happy 2019... Recap of 2018... What we do... New equipment... and Moving forward...

We have some new equipment to assist us in bringing an even higher level of customer satisfaction.

Lastly, a note on moving forward through the 2019 year.

2018 Recap...

2018 was a very busy year for us at Hegwood Electric. Our great team of fabricators, engineers, and staff built over one thousand (1000) control panels of various shapes and sizes and were deployed all over the world for our customers.

In 2018 we also underwent our first customer QC audit, which we passed with flying colors. We had one batch of eight (8) mechanical components that was out of compliance. That's an error rate of 0.8%. Great job team!

What we do...

Since 1970, Hegwood Electric has worked to be a globally recognized name for quality and service in the industrial automation and controls industry. As a UL listed panel shop, we've been assisting global companies in various industries with their ICP needs. If you have questions about pnp vs npn, PLCs, enclosure ratings, design, or scope of work, we have the experience and expertise to assist.

Our team has the knowledge and skills to design and build your industrial control panels to the correct specifications. Whether the units are one off or production, we would enjoy assisting you in the manufacture of them.

New Equipment...

We have recently purchased a 3-Axis CNC machine to help us with our production. This unit with an Automatic Tool Changer can cut out dimensional holes in the enclosure doors, side walls, and back pans. The quality of our work improves yet again with the use of this machine and we're not as reliant on enclosure manufacturers with custom cuts. We'd be glad to show the machine in action and how it can help in the build of your ICP's.

Moving forward...

The team here at Hegwood Electric has done a great job this last year. We've grown our sales, improved our quality control, and have worked hard on our efficiencies and processes. Of course, there is more to be done. With the growth of technology, the future is very exciting in our industry. From IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things), virtual reality, robotics, and more, technological growth is not going to slow down. All of us here at Hegwood Electric, look forward to moving forward and the challenges to come. Happy 2019 everyone.
