Business Hall of Fame | Fairytale Town
Since 1959, Fairytale Town has been the place for children to let their imaginations run wild! It is where generations of Sacramento's families have learned through play by acting out their favorite childhood stories. A new story was added in 2018 when Fairytale Town opened its newest structure Anansi's Web - inspired by the stories of Anansi the spider, a popular character in West African folk tales.
Small Business of the Year | Silt Wine Company & Muddy Boot Wine
What launched as a side project to the family farm has grown into a strong business with roots dug deep in Clarksburg. Co-founders Tom Merwin, David Ogilvie and Phil Ogilvie epitomize the many hats worn by the Capital Region's small business owners as they grow their business and give back to their community.
