Over the course of two days, the Summit creates opportunities for attendees to learn, connect, and act on behalf of racial justice. This year's theme is Moving Forward Together. New Day Rising Conference
Identifying Your Congregation’s Next Steps in the Struggle with White Supremacy Culture

Saturday, January 26 2019
9am – 430 pm
Have you been or wanted to be involved in Allegheny’s fight to dismantle White Supremacy culture? If so, we encourage you to look into this day long workshop led by Central East Region staff and UU congregational leaders. The workshop is designed to tackle tricky issues such as coming up against resistance, knowing where to start and what comes next with our efforts. Morning workshops are diverse and designed to meet folx where they are, and the afternoon is real stories from congregations about their actual work for liberation, without perfection or completion.
