A new year - a new service, latest reports + an Ampere webinar

Launched earlier this month, Ampere Commissioning Analytics comprises a database of all major new shows commissioned or in development by the major commissioning companies across linear and SVoD platforms globally - up to two years in the future. The service is supported by a regular flow of reports and a monthly summary of key, emerging trends. Clients should request a trial if they are interested. The first monthly summary has been opened up to clients of all services.

In other news, we are shortly going to field with Wave eight of our consumer survey - adding China, India, South African and Canada to the list of countries covered in the service.

Please join us on Thursday 24th of January for a webinar to showcase Commissioning Analytics.
The Commissioning strategies and trends for 2019 webinar will cover:

  • How are FAANGs changing their commissioning strategies? Is there a marked shift towards scripted content?
  • Which countries are FAANGs commissioning in?
  • What's the genre mix for 2019 and beyond? Are we seeing a shift to a broader and more diverse mix of content?
  • How do the leading FAANGs compare to the larger US linear commissioners, are they really stealing a march on these experienced players?
  • What are the US linear players commissioning in response to the growth of Netflix
  • Are the US linear players echoing Netflix’s co-productions strategy to spread their costs and how does that play-out compared to other key regions such as western Europe?

We will be running the webinar twice to cater for international clients - please register using one of the links below:
Session 1, 10am GMT, 24th January
Session 2, 9am PT (5pm GMT), 24th January
