Dear Classmates,
HAPPY NEW YEAR  ! We are all blessed to have been able to see another year-- 2019 and entering our 73rd year (if you were born in 1946 -- we know we have some other years represented within our class also). After a very rainy and dreary holiday season, we are blessed this week in Baton Rouge to see a UFO in the sky  -- known as the SUN ...and having some warmer temperatures. We shall see how long this lasts......
 We hope by now you have read about the plans for our Reunion #55 on July 12 and 13 this summer and are planning to attend. The information was sent out a few weeks ago as an e-blast and has been posted on our website Reunions Page at ihs1964.com/reunions.html . You can complete the profile online and it will be sent to Lydia who keeps track of our numbers (or you can print it out and mail). Please send your checks ($60 per person) made out to Istrouma Class of 1964 and mail to: 1017 Daventry Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808. The committee will be having a meeting soon to do a mail-out to those for whom we do not have an e-mail address.
Our next luncheon is this Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:30 at Drusilla's Seafood at the corner of Jefferson Highway and Drusilla. The yearly schedule is as follows:

Missing Classmates - We need help in the monumental task of contacting all of our Missing Classmates (see list here - ihs1964.com/class.html) so please help by calling, writing, emailing people you know, see, lived by etc., and ask them to send in their current information. Send us your data for our database
We published a 50th Reunion Booklet that was given out to everyone at the July event and wanted to include as many listings as possible. If you weren't listed or want to change data - addresses, phone numbers, family info, and what you've been doing. Many of you have been contacted recently via phone or email by the Reunion Committee and we have up to date reports. However, there area a lot of folks with old data on file, so if you haven't already done so, please send us your data using our convenient new online form or the traditional printed "snail mail" version. We would hope that most folks will use the online form since it reduces the amount of typing the committee volunteers have to do!

Missing Indians
We've maintained and updated the classmates list from our 45th reunion and will use it and recent information to keep our database current. A list of "Missing Indians" has been posted and will be updated each week as we find people and move them to the "found" list. With just a few months left, we'll need help from volunteers. Please help us find the missing classmates and faculty members.
Send photos and news
In case you haven't visited our Gallery Pages, there are many photos there that classmates have scanned and emailed to us for everyone to see. Send us your photos along with captions. Scan at 300 dpi or less to keep the size down. Send to ihs1964@yahoo.com .
