Dear trainees, members et al...

It is less than 4 weeks to our next training day on the 8th February with the focus on chronic infections. Here are some of the highlights:

Dr Saedeleer from Belgium will present unique perspectives on treatment of complex multi system disorders, in particular neuroinflammation and the microglia.

Dr Sarah Myhill will look at the bigger picture and bring us practical and achievable solutions to chronic infectious pathologies.

Dr Schwarzbach's lecture is based on how to interpret the clinical presentation to prioritize choice of tests and treatments.

Dr Downing will give us insights into the significance of biofilms and how to treat them.... followed by our afternoon session with case discussions. All speakers will be on the BSEM panel, as well as Dr Jean Monro, who will join us for the afternoon. So please bring along your cases; current BSEM trainees will be given priority.

As our guest speaker, we are delighted to have Dr Daud Mohammed, Infectious Disease specialist, who will walk us down the Lyme labyrinth. For more information please see the programme below.

We look forward to seeing you in February.
