TAILORED HEALTH GETS A MAKE-OVER!

Great vibe and postive feedback in the clinic so far this year with the fresh new look!

Thanks to those who helped  me out over the holiday break! I look forward to making more of the same improvements to Tailored Health as 2019 rolls on 

CLAIRE GETS BACK TO NETBALL AND ACHIEVES HER SWIMMING GOAL!

Fact: Netball used to be my thing 
Fact: I stopped because of persistent back pain and fear of re-injury 5 years ago
Fact: I played a game of netball tonight
Fiction: I have a dodgy back and the jarring movements in netball will cause damaging back pain 

Graded exposure went out the window tonight playing a full game after many years... just shows how far I’ve come with my “back injury”. I literally had zero fear of injuring my back tonight. In the past a netball game would be associated with anxiety in the days leading up, 30 mins of warmups and anti-inflammatories before the game because it was definitely going to become inflamed, and post game icing to reduce the pain. Woooaaahh, I have come a long way. 

Persistant pain isn’t forever and there is a way to get back to the things you love. Change your thinking and get back moving!

Claire's comments on her swimming goal: "Pretty lucky to have a mate who throws whopper challenges my way that scare the begeebees out of me! Makes crossing that finish line all the better despite the disorientated state, with lead for legs and a tummy filled with enough salt water for a fishing tank. Thanks for the challenge to complete a 2.5km ocean swim in 2018. Completed in 54mins at Anglesea’s Rock to Ramp yesterday."

BEN EXPANDS TO YARRABEND GOLF COURSE
I have now worked with the junior golf development program on the weekends at Yarrabend Golf Club for the past 18 months and since being there, have seen the program grow to a point that there are now midweek sessions in order to fit all the kids!

As a result, I now have the opportunity to help not just the junior golfers, but all the goflers that use the Yarrabend Golf Club facilities. I'm super excited to be able to help more golfers play the game better and live healthier, pain free lives.


The role includes Wednesday afternoons and weekends for now, so you'll still be seeing me around Tailored Health!
