Welcome to Paint Ontario 2019, The Places and Faces of Ontario, a show within a show.

The opening gala reception at the Lambton Heritage Museum is on Friday, March 29, 2019. This year, we are excited that artists will be taking home a record $6200 in prizes!

Paint Ontario is not only Ontario's largest show and sale of original representational artwork, it's also a showcase for demonstrations and artists' talks.

Paint Ontario is Also a Showcase for Demonstrations and Artists' Talks

1. Renowned portrait artist and "faces judge", Brian Smith, will conduct a two-day portrait workshop with a live model. Opening weekend: Saturday, March 30th and Sunday 31st. Cost $250 (material list will be sent upon sign up.)
2. Life Drawing With Your Peers: Four sessions at the Grand Bend Youth, Art and Community Centre. Cost is $20 per session, bring your own materials.
   • April 3: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
   • April 7: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
   • April 10: 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
   • April 14: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

New This Year!

• Artist, Jamie Jardine, will be conducting a painting demonstration and hosting a two-day workshop, Interpreting the Landscape, on April 13 and 14. Click here for more details and materials listl. Cost is $200.
• Artists Donna Andreychuk, Marion Anderson, Martina Bruggemans, Jeffery George (aka Red Dog), Anna Koot, Layne and Elaine (Guitar) Van Loo, Paul Abeleira, Fran Roelands and Teresa Marie will all be at the Lambton Heritage Museum at various times presenting their techniques and insights into their work. 
• Show visitors will enjoy a weekend bar featuring area breweries and wineries. Local restaurants will be offering "Paint Ontario Specials" throughout the three weeks of the show.
