Impact of High-Speed Transit Survey
Development Research Partners has been retained by the Collaborative Effort, the I-70 Coalition, and other interested stakeholders to conduct a study to evaluate and estimate the economic impacts of development of a high-speed transit system that would connect Eagle County with Denver International Airport, a 155-mile stretch through the I-70 Mountain Corridor and the Metro Denver region. You can take the survey online. Detailed background information and assumptions are provided at the beginning of the survey.

Colorado Minimum Wage Increasing in 2019
Effective January 1, 2019: the state’s minimum wage will go up to $11.10/hour, and $8.08/hour for tipped employees. The increase comes as a result of Amendment 70, which will increase Colorado’s minimum wage annually by $0.90 until it reaches $12/hour in 2020.

Enterprise Zone
It is a new year; remember to pre-certify for the Enterprise Zone. The Enterprise Zone is a state-wide incentive program for businesses, encouraging them to invest in their business, buy equipment, hire employees, train them and more. Most commercially zoned areas in Lakewood are in the Enterprise Zone. To check your status and to pre-certify, visit the website.
