Hi <<First Name>>!

I hope your year is off to a great start! It's been a wonderful start here as we discussed having a year of SIGNIFICANCE in the Bible journaling classes this past weekend.

One of my focuses this year as I strive to make a difference in my life and in the world around me is to spend more time in prayer! I am not one of those people that everyone calls a prayer warrior or one who travails in prayer. I like to think of myself as an efficient prayer who also talks to the Lord throughout the day. However, I don't take prayer lightly as it is such an important part of our walk with the Lord and our growth as followers of Christ.

In an effort to be more intentional during my prayer time this year, I am committing to pray with and for others in a more focused way. One way I'm doing this is collecting prayer requests during my classes and taking time to pray for those specific requests over the following four weeks. I began this practice during the December classes and it is amazing how this time has helped me not only draw closer to the Lord, but to feel closer to those individuals (and their families and friends) that I'm praying for during that time.

Prayer is such a powerful way to grow in our relationship with the Lord, and I'm excited to announce next month's Bible journaling class will be all about prayer!
