Dear Forum Participant,
 
We look forward to seeing you this Friday, January 11, for the community engagement forum, “Building Blocks for Impactful Community Engagement toward Health Equity”. We are so pleased that you are presenting your work during our poster session. We look forward to a great day of learning and networking. The forum agenda is available online

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and forum events start at 9:00 a.m. Coffee, tea and light snacks will be available starting at 8:30 a.m.
 
We will be meeting in the University of South Alabama Student Center Ballroom (second floor, room number 210). Please have your poster set up before 8:45 a.m. the morning of the 11th. As a reminder, the poster dimension size is 3’10” x  3’10”. We will have push pins available for your convenience. The Ballroom will be open from 3:30 pm to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, if you would like to set-up prior to the event.  If you need assistance with setting-up your poster, please contact our team.
 
Event parking will be in the Gamma Lot (see directions below). The Student Center is a 5 minute walk from the parking area (see the map below).  There will be someone in the parking lot to direct you.
 
A Jag Tran shuttle will run between the lot and the student center from 8:15 to 9:45 am and again from 3:00 to 4:30pm. If you have any questions please contact either(llparker@southalabama.edu or bdiaz@southalabama.edu) prior to the event on Friday, January 11th 2019.   



Directions to the University of South Alabama Gamma Lot:
 
From I-65:
Take the Airport Boulevard exit and go west on Airport Blvd (as if you were going to the Mobile Regional Airport). Go 2.6 miles. You will see a Publix supermarket on the corner of Airport Blvd. and University Blvd. Turn right (north) onto University Boulevard. Go 1 mile on University Blvd. crossing Bit and Spur Road (first light). At the second light, turn left on Old Shell Road. Go about .7 mile and take a right on Stadium Blvd. Then take the first right onto the Gamma Connector and follow this road into the parking lot. Try to park on the far end of the lot.
 
From U. S. Highway 98:
Turn south onto Schillinger Road (as if you were going to the Mobile Regional Airport). Go approximately 5 miles. As you are nearing Old Shell Road, you will see a Flea Market on the right. Turn left (east) onto Old Shell Road. Go approximately 2.5 miles, crossing Cody Road and Hillcrest Roads. After Hillcrest Road, take the first left onto Stadium Boulevard. Then take the first right onto the Gamma Connector and follow this road into the parking lot. Try to park on the far end of the lot.
