Yoga | Ayurveda | Kirtan

Dear <<First Name>>,

Happy 2019! I hope your year has been off to a good start. The turning of another calendar year is a reminder of time passing - a relief for some, but also a source of anxiety for others. Lurking questions of, "Where am I headed?" or, "What do I want to become?" can be a mixture of excitement and angst.

Self-evolution is a balancing act: along with wanting to evolve into our higher selves we must also take care to not compartmentalize out aspects that we find less than agreeable. The personal shadows and past history that we all have can be difficult to look at, but it is in these uncomfortable places where we can learn our biggest lessons.

I hope this year brings many blessings, and when those blessings come in the form of difficulty let's remember to soak up the wisdom available.
SUN FEB 3rd | 3-5 PM | $50 (INCLUDES RITUAL KIT) | Yoga Public (280 Fort St)

Proper digestion is the cornerstone of health, so when we feel clogged or disrupted in either the mind or body it is a recipe for further dis-ease - unless we do something about it. With this in mind, the tools of yoga and Ayurveda provide a practical recipe to help us process and heal.

Besides food, we need to digest thoughts and emotions; when we have a healthy digestive process, we can:
     • absorb nutrients efficiently
     • have mental clarity, and
     • feel emotionally balanced.

I am thrilled to offer a new workshop that will blend discussion and practice to integrate theory with our reality. Join me to dive into the wisdom of ancestral healing methodologies and apply them to our modern lives. Plus, take home a ritual kit with tools (handmade by me!) to support your work on activating your intrinsic healing power.

Spots are filling; sign up soon at www.yogapublic.com!

LIFE UPGRADE!
As my late teacher Michael Stone once said, “Let's be more materialistic” - as in, let’s have a deeper appreciation for the objects in our lives. We need things to live, so let us truly love those things and choose them wisely. Whenever I acquire something that is functional, beautiful, and evolved, I think, “life upgrade!” So here is my latest: the Stasher reusable bag. Made of temperature-stable silicone (more sustainable than plastic), it has been a handy, lightweight (and good-looking!) way to store food. Get yours here - they come in lots of different sizes and colours!
Take care and be well,
Adrienne
