Hi <<First Name>>!

Over the weekend I took a road trip to San Francisco with my pal Jason to attend the Fancy Food Show. At the trade show, I tried some wonderful plant-based food products, some that haven't hit the shelves yet!

Speaking of new food, on the way up North Jason and I stopped at Carl's Jr. because they're serving the Beyond Meat burger. This feels a little odd to share because I'm not sure I've ever been inside a Carl's Jr. prior to this month! Even though I'm not a big fan of fast food, I'm grateful that there's a vegan option at a chain like this. Especially when you're trying to get somewhere fast and driving long distances in between big cities (like we were). All things considered, I think Carl's Jr. did a nice job with the burger and it's relatively inexpensive (between $6-8 depending on the location and options). If you want to try it vegan style, just order it without cheese and mayo (the bun and sauce are free of animal products!)

It's no surprise that 2019 is being called the year of the vegan. What a time to be alive! Let's kick off the New Year by celebrating Veganuary! Below you'll find tips on going vegan, how to make your own vegan kombucha, and an unboxing video filled with great vegan products!

2.
Celebrate Veganuary

Veganuary is a charity inspiring people to try going vegan in January (and throughout the rest of the year). For most, a love of animals is the catalyst for this lifestyle switch. Some people also want to feel better about their choices and the impact they make on the world. Others would like to set themselves a challenge, and many combine Veganuary with their ‘New Year’s Resolutions’ and see trying vegan as the healthiest start to the year. Whatever your reason, I'm here to support you.

If you're not vegan already, try it for a month and discover a whole new world of taste and flavor. Even Beyonce and Jay-Z are urging their fans to go vegan in 2019!

I'm part of the New Hope Network and every few months they send me a box filled with tons of great products! It feels like Christmas every time I get one and I love sharing all of the new vegan food, drinks, supplements and beyond with you. There were some unique vegan goodies in this one, and in a video I also share what was in my latest Goddess Provisions box. Check out my latest YouTube video to see it all!
