Join our 4-week entrepreneurship program! Every Wednesday in May we discuss the following topics:
  • Week 1 (May 3, 2023): Motivational Interviewing
    • This concept is an evidence-based approach to behavior change. This goal-oriented style of communication is designed to strengthen personal motivation & commitment to a specific goal. Our focus will be on good listening, directing, guidance, & and empowerment.
  • Week 2 (May 10, 2023): Emotional Wellness/Mental Health Care
    • Emotional Wellness is the ability to successfully handle life stresses and adapt to change & difficult times. This also ties into mental healthcare as it deals with emotional, psychological, & social well-being. Our exercises will focus on how you think, feel, and handle stress. 
       
  • Week 3 (May 17, 2023): Building Healthy Communication
    • Here we will focus on Five essential communication skills.
      - Written Communication conveys ideas through written language
      - Oral Communication conveys ideas through spoken language.
      - Non-Verbal & Visual Communication Body Language
      - Active Listening with comprehension before speaking.
      - Contextual Communication both parties are involved and understand what the conversation is about.
  • Week 4 (May 24, 2023): Self-Love/Support 
    • Teaching love and appreciation for one's self. 
      - Happiness 
      - Self-acceptance 
      - Self-esteem
      - Self-awareness 
      - Self-forgiveness
