Christeena came to visit us with her mother to give thanks for the help she received. The association has funded her nursing studies for 3 years and she has just passed her final exam and is awaiting the results. If all goes well, she will be able to find work and help her family who lives in poverty. She thanked all the members of the association who allowed her to pursue her studies.
|
|
|
The association continues to support Valsa and Paul, especially Valsa, who has acute rheumatoid arthritis. It has been several years since Valsa cannot walk and the treatments administered have no effect. With Biju the president of the association Valsa met a new doctor and the first treatments brought her the relief needed, Valsa was in a great pain. The joy is back and Paul is up after his fractured femoral neck last year.

In our last newsletter, we told you about Gladys and a room that collapsed after the big floods in Kerala. It has been restored and Gladys is very happy with this repair that will change her and her children’s life. She thanks all the members of the association for this precious help.

The association helped Kamala, an elderly woman who lives in poverty to renovate the toilet and shower of her house. She lives with her son in the backwaters and they have almost no income.

We have been very touched by each of women who are getting better and better and continue their journey with more serenity and confidence. "The association continues to support youth graduate studies and basic food packages for the needy families.

When we visited the dhalits children s school, it was an explosion of joy. Menaga, the school teacher made us feel welcome. They were very proud to show us the school that was renovated thanks to the donations received. A metal gate has been installed outside, the toilet has been renovated, the kitchen has been improved and the classroom is clean. The teachers told us they wanted to find a vehicle to pick up the children at home and to bring them back after class. Children walk 2 km each day on a dangerous road. We told them that the association would see if we can help them put this project in place.

From November to December, beautiful exhibitions were held in joy at Annie’s home, Yolande’s home and, Virginie’s home, Léa Nature cosmetic company, Bestiario café and SNCF Business Committee in Montpellier. We thank all the organizers and visitors who help the association to develop always beautiful projects of mutual assistance.

Bloom unveils its recycled paper envelopes
|
|
|
You can find the envelopes and small objects made in the creative and meditative workshops of the association "Yoga, A daily life experience" at the La Rochelle public library. The creative realizations are displayed in a showcase under the theme "Reinventing books" until early January 2019. Envelopes and various paper objects are made from books to be recycled through our partnership with the library. All of the two creative workshops took place on Saturday 8th and Tuesday 11th December 2018.
