Families,
It was so good to see all the teens this past Sunday. We had a great time of catching up with each other.
With it being a new year, many people are talking about and setting resolutions. We encouraged the teens that, as christians it is always a good thing to be thinking about ways to change and grow spiritually.
We looked at the different ways we attempt to make changes using our hearts, minds, and hands. Learning to examine our hearts to discover what our true desires are. Paying attention to our thoughts and examine what kind of input we are allowing on a daily basis. Learning to look at our actions and and how to control them.
This leads to the warm heart challenge that we will be starting on Monday, Jan. 14th. We will be reviewing the specifics and Bible reading plan next Sunday during youth group

This will be a very challenging two weeks as well as a great opportunity for God to speak into our lives with less distraction. Remember, this can be done as a family.
