#PromiseSquare

This Week's Promise to Share

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Proverbs 3:3-6, NIV

A Regional Day of Celebration

Continuing an annual tradition, western Washington regional churches celebrated the first Sabbath of the new year together! Pete Palmer, main speaker, encouraged the audience to intentionally meet the needs of our communities and be the breathe of life for God.

"48 percent of Christians are post-Christian in how they practice their faith," says Palmer. "If we don't start to intentionally meet the needs of our church and community, they will seek the answers from the world."

After church, the audience had an opportunity to sit in on a choice of three workshops: Social Justice & the Church, Transformational Relationships, and Dating & Maintaining a Relationship with God.
