Hello Table Tennis Enthusiasts,
Time to burn the extra unwanted holiday calories! I’m excited to announce that LATTA will introduce a new round robin system called the "Equal Challenge (EQ)!" It will take place every Saturday at 3pm, starting Jan. 12!!! The Coordinator will be Alex Figueroa (cell: 323-806-4929, Email: alexfigueroachannel@gmail.com). I was informed that EQ exists at other local Clubs and have been successful. It's the same as any round robin, the only difference is the higher rated Player will spot the lower rated Player points! Alex has an Equal Challenge computer software that will help determine the number of handicapped points given. First time will be approximate but the 2nd, 3rd time and so forth will be more accurate! With this EQ system, the higher Player must fight harder to win while the lower Player has an equal opportunity to win! Will be fun & challenging for Everyone! Cash prize will be awarded to 1st & 2nd Place Finishers. Unrated players are welcomed to join too. Text or email Alex if you plan on participating.

All players are welcomed to stay and play more after they finish EQ.
Our regular U2000 Round Robin will continue to take place every Saturday at 10am. Next one is this Saturday, Jan 12.

This is my Dad’s Memorial Tournament. He was an avid table tennis player and fan! Singles events include U1050RR, U1250RR, U1400RR, 1600RR, U1775RR, U1875RR, U2000RR, U2100RR & U2200RR. As always, 2 players advance in all Events! Prize $$ awarded in U1600-U2200! Trophies awarded in U1200RR to U1875RR! Our trophies are the BEST and BIGGEST compared to all other local Clubs! Since our last month’s Tournament, I’ve upgraded our 19 inch trophies to a whopping 2 feet tall!!! It’s made of real marble...heavy! We have fabulous tastes at LATTA!
