Red Book Training Course - Online

March 13-June 5, 2019 | Online

This online Red Book Training Course is designed to assist you in preparing for the Child Welfare Law Specialist (CWLS) examination. It can also serve as an overall review of dependency competency areas. The course will consist of seven webinars delivered over a period of 13 weeks. The material covered in the course is drawn from Child Welfare Law and Practice: Representing Children, Parents, and State Agencies in Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency Cases (3rd Edition). The course is intended to assist you in breaking the material down, focusing on important concepts, and guiding you through the material in the Red Book. This course will not cover every chapter. The instructor has made intentional decisions about what information to cover in the time that is allotted for the course. If a chapter is not covered, that does not mean that content from that chapter will not appear on the exam. Therefore, you should incorporate any chapters that are not covered into your self-study plans.
