FOR THE WINTER / SPRING MUSICAL –“DEAR EDWINA”!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to do Beauty and the Beast. However, we are very excited about Dear Edwina! We consider this show to be a terrific choice for the students of Cottonwood and we can’t wait to get started! Dear Edwina is a heartwarming musical about the joys of growing up, from the creators of Junie B. Jones, The Musical.
The musical will be directed and produced by Michael Wehrli from New Moon Productions. New Moon and Michael brought you the very successful fall play, “Law and Disorder”! Music direction and choreography by Amy LaRosa-Peters.
Monday January 14 – 3:00-5:30pm Note – if only auditioning for the Chorus, you will only need to stay 3-4pm
Wednesday January 16 – 3:00-5:30pm Note – if only auditioning for the Chorus, you will only need to stay 3-4pm
- Plan on being there the entire two and a half hours, unless they are only auditioning to be in the chorus. Chorus only needs to be there 3:00-4:00pm.

- Note – Cast members must be able to commit to be at all the rehearsals and performances. It is quite possible that there will be some rehearsals where everyone is not needed. But that will only be determined after the auditions. So, we do need everyone to commit to all the rehearsals. If you do have a conflict or two, please list them on the Audition Sign Up Form and we will consider them -though we can’t guarantee it will be workable.

Dear Edwina JR. follows the adventures of plucky advice-giver-extraordinaire, Edwina Spoonapple, as she directs the neighborhood kids in a series of buoyant production numbers for the latest edition of her weekly "Advice-a-Palooza.” Edwina and her friends share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends through clever, catchy and poignant songs.
