Hello my friends,
I have been working hard the last few months on my "folktronic", one-man-band show! I will be premiering it on Thursday, 1/31 at Neck of the Woods in SF and have just released a high-quality video of one of the songs. I use the program, Ableton, with guitar and drum pedals to create rich, percussive, ethereal arrangements of my songs.

The Show
Thursday, 1/31 at Neck of the Woods, SF. I will premiere my new show at 8:30, and will be followed by the "Fiery-Folky-Funky" Bootleg Sunshine and the “Emotive, intense, powerful”, Herbert Bail. This is a 21 and over show.

This is crazy, but since the last newsletter I won another competition! As of now, I have won two major competitions, and placed in the finals for another three. The latest was for the Mid-Atlantic Song Competition, where my song "Wild Wind" won the Americana category. Yeah!
About the new video... "Folktronic" is the blending of folk and electronic music. I design guitar effects and percussion sounds on my laptop, and then trigger them with my feet. The video was done in a single, handheld shot using the very best equipment, by my mega-talented videographer brother, Ryan Houchin.
Release date for the "Wild Wind" music video is officially announced! On March 29th, the amazing video by the Coldplay/Mumford and Sons director will be available for your viewing pleasure : )
