Women's March 2019

Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse participated in the Women's March in Calgary in January where marchers were drawing attention to a variety of issues, including missing and murdered Indigenous women, issues that impact working mothers, transgender rights and sexual violence.
We Believe Gala

The Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton is excited to announce that tickets are now available for our 6th annual fundraising gala We Believe: Let’s Move Forward Together 2019, featuring Keynote Speaker Jeff Perera and Emcee Danny Hooper.

Jeff Perera has been speaking on healthy versus toxic masculinity and men helping end gender-based violence for close to ten years, to tens of thousands of people across Canada. Jeff’s work helps nurture brave spaces for real discussion: inspiring people to challenge our gendered ideas of success and failure, and to be the lesson in action.

Danny Hooper knew at an early age that his passion was in the entertainment world. In the decades since, he has parlayed his unique personality and sense of humour into an award-winning career and thousands of on-stage performances as a recording artist, motivational speaker, comedic emcee, and celebrity benefit auctioneer.

We invite you to join us on May 2, 2019 in Hall D of the Edmonton Convention Centre (previously known as the Shaw Conference Centre) for an evening of fine dining and exceptional homegrown entertainment. All funds raised from this event will go directly towards providing essential support for people and communities impacted by sexual violence. Let’s move forward together.

Please click the invitation below to read more information about the event and to purchase tickets. We look forward to seeing you there!
CASASC and The Calgary Rougnecks, Calgary’s professional box lacrosse team, have partnered together to raise funds.

Purchase tickets for a home game in Calgary this season and receive a Saturday night of fun while supporting a great cause. Roughnecks games are fast, fun and entertaining for everyone.

CASASC raises money for each ticket that’s sold. That’s right. It’s as easy as going to the ticket page for an upcoming game and placing the code 10F104 into the offer code box to unlock fundraiser savings.

This fundraiser ticket feature (with the discounted ticket rate) will be offered for the next six home games. See the Roughnecks schedule here: http://calgaryroughnecks.com/schedule/

Grab your friends, pick a few games and let’s raise some funds for CASASC.
