Advancing Eco Ag
John Kempf Appearances

25 Jan 2019
I'm not much for promoting companies that I don't feel completely confident about. In that vein, I'd like to spread the word that John Kempf of Advancing Eco Ag will be making a number of central New York appearances in early February. For those of you who are not aware, Advancing Eco Ag (or AEA) is one of the most innovative plant health and nutrition companies to come along in maybe forever. John Kempf is their founder and strongest advocate. What is AEA? Click here. Who is John Kempf? Click here.

All I can say is that I've had the privilege to get to know AEA, their products, John, Harold, and Rod over the past few years. Their approach to how we manage plants is certainly unique, though their theories, concepts, and practices are quite rationale. In other words, you won't find a lot of what they are saying in the annals of the ivory towers. But that is changing. Their approach is pretty simple, healthy plants produce more better crops, fend off plants and diseases better, and ultimately make you, the farmer, more money. What more could you ask for?

I don't make anything for promoting AEA and I don't want anything. That's why you won't see too many promotional emails from me. If you can make it to any of these upcoming events, your eyes will be opened and you will be rewarded in ways you couldn't imagine. So cancel that ski trip to Vail, or your surfing vacation in Hawaii, and head to lovely western NY in the dead of winter for some real action.

23-24 Mar 2019, 9am-3pm each day
Know Your Roots, 6031 Brook Road, Trumansburg, NY
* Last year we discussed the Promise of Biodynamics broadly as it applies to orchards and vineyards. This year we’ll delve deeper into specific practices and aspects, including the planetary influences on plant and preps, the nature of a closed system farm, and energy systems. Of course, we will cover the basics on Day 1 to give everyone a background on the history and practices of biodynamics. However, we will quickly move to a detailed discussion of specific concepts and practices. This year’s course will be divided into two days and lunch will NOT be provided as part of the cost.
