Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grant guidelines and criteria are now available on the United Thank Offering website: https://www.episcopalchurch.org/united-thank-offering as well as the application for 2019 grants.

The focus is GO—crossing boundaries created by race, culture, and economics to create communities that listen deeply and learn to live like Jesus. The deadline for submission of a completed application (and required documents) is 5:00 p.m. (EST) on Friday, March 1, 2019.

Applicants and those supporting applicants through the Annual Grant process should join us for the informational webinar on Zoom: Wednesday, February 13, at noon and 8 p.m. EST. Zoom information is also on the website.

Important notes
The United Thank Offering will accept:
  • One grant application per diocese within The Episcopal Church;
  • One additional application for a companion grant from a diocese of The Episcopal Church may be submitted. This relationship may be formed with an aided diocese from The Episcopal Church or with a diocese from The Anglican Communion. The sponsoring bishop with jurisdiction will be responsible for the accounting of the grant.
Known worldwide as UTO, the United Thank Offering grants are awarded for projects that address human needs and help alleviate poverty, both domestically and internationally within Anglican provinces, dioceses, and companion dioceses. The United Thank Offering invites you to submit a grant application for the 2019 United Thank Offering grant cycle.
