Wetenschap en religie: soms botsen ze, soms versterken ze elkaar, soms gaan ze erg hun eigen weg. Maar in deze discussiegroep exploreren we ze allebei om elkaar te stimuleren en nieuwe ideeën te ontwikkelen.
Een pittige en vrolijke bijeenkomst twee maandagavonden per maand in het kantoor van Spectrum. De inleiding wordt vaak verzorgd door één van de deelnemers, zodat er een grote diversiteit is aan onderwerpen.
Table and Talk (T&T) is een gespreksgroep voor jonge professionals die zoeken naar bezinning en verdieping. We zitten rond de tafel en gaan in gesprek met elkaar over wezenlijke dingen die ons bezig houden. Zo komt er ruimte om van de drukte van alle dag -van promotietrajecten en nieuwe banen tot relaties en kinderen krijgen- naar binnen te gaan en stil te staan bij wat er (ook) toe doet.

Experience the Dutch custom of 'uitwaaien'.... on the beach of Scheveningen. Uitwaaien means to walk in the wind for fun.
Uitwaaien is a very effective way to refresh your mind and body after hard work. Sunshine, storm or even rain...all weather types are perfect for "lekker uitwaaien".
This excursion includes a visit to the Panorama Mesdag Museum in the Hague with its ancient virtual reality panoram a-painting of the beach and more.
Departure 12:00 from Bornsesteeg (we travel by car), return around 19:00. The total cost of this event is 5,-.
This evening we use the wet-into-wet technique in watercolor painting.
This technique involves an intuitive way of working with color, applied directly on wet paper, using a flat, soft fairly wide brush. Instructor Evert Jansen is an experienced teacher trained in the Waldorfschool tradition of wet-into-wet painting.

Wat houdt je bezig? Wat inspireert je? Waar loop je tegenop? Wat en wie is belangrijk voor je, hoe maak je keuzes en waar twijfel je aan?
Met deze en andere levensvragen gaan we in SPIRIT! op weg om met een open blik eigen (voorlopige!) antwoorden te vinden. We zullen ons daartoe laten inspireren door verschillende bronnen en mensen uit de wereldreligies, kunst, literatuur, muziek en Oosterse en Westerse filosofie. We gaan met elkaar in gesprek waarbij we verschillende gespreksvormen toepassen, zoals de socratische gespreksvoering. Als het past bij de groep zullen we ook aandacht besteden aan meditatietechnieken en/of kunstzinnig aan de slag gaan.
De belangrijkste vraag in SPIRIT! is: Wat zijn mijn eigen antwoorden op levensvragen en wat betekent dat voor mijn leven in deze wereld, nu en in de toekomst?

We will train in tapping in to our inner strength and standing firm in challenging situations.
