December was a busy, happening month for the Maranatha Church. The giving and generosity for our Christmas food drive was amazing. The week before Christmas, we delivered food boxes to 15 families and individuals, and 10 cheer baskets to our seniors and shut-ins. This represented a Christmas blessing to 35 adults and 18 children.
Along with the food boxes and cheer baskets, the youth and young adults from our district churches met at Brian & Teresa's to put together some blessing bags that were shared with even more people.
God is so good!

Church Hockey League: Our team will play against the Outreach Pentecostal Church at 8:30 pm tonight at the Gorman Arena in Millidgeville.
Romero House Change: Due to the storm on Sunday, we’ve switched with another group who are able to get to the soup kitchen even in bad weather. We’ll be taking their spot in early February.
District Prayer Meeting will be at Rob & Flavia’s on Darlings Island this Tuesday at 7 pm.
Mid-Winter Potluck: Groundhog’s Day is half way between the first day of winter and the first day of spring. As we’ve done in past years, you are invited to bring some food to Andy’s home in Hampton after church on February 2 for a potluck as we pass the midway point of winter together!
