Vintage Tea Dance

We launch our 90th anniversary celebrations with a family vintage tea dance. Join us at the Village Hall to enjoy free tea and coffee, the WLOS bar and our special one-time-only cake stall.

During the event we will have plenty of vintage activities to keep you entertained including:
dance lessons, cake competitions, a lucky dip and
a good old fashioned post war sing along!

Victorious with a Victoria

We will be holding a traditional WI style Victoria Sandwich competition.

Bring your best attempt and see if you can win the top prize. Read some top tips here.

Dress to Impress

We highly encourage dressing up 1930/40s dress (although it's not compulsory!)
As an incentive, we'll be awarding a prize for the best dressed guest!

If you need to hire an outfit, our wonderful wardrobe mistress Janet Huckle is offering you the chance to choose one from her incredible costume collection for a modest £10 donation.
Simply call Janet direct on 020 8944 2058 to arrange to visit her before the event.

All proceeds from the Tea Dance will go towards funding our return to The New Wimbledon Theatre to commemorate our 90th anniversary with a special production of The Wizard of Oz.
