FROM THE PRO SHOP
Some great scores in recent weeks are winning club competitions; congratulations to everyone who is playing well. The extra run on the fairways is being enjoyed by many.
New Rules
Are you keeping up to date with the new rules for 2019? Like me, try and get into the habit of reading the book often, it certainly pays to know the rules. Free rule books are available from the Pro Shop, or for download via the Club app. Players are asked to check the "local rule board" for some new local rules in play at the moment.
John Beaver Singles Knockout Draw
The "John Beaver Singles Knockout Draw " for round 2 is now available. Please follow this link to view the draw. Players, please make contact with your opponent for scheduling.
Golf Clinics
Our Junior Club and Junior Learn Clinics start next month, please contact the Pro Shop for more information or visit the web site.
Adult Learn Golf classes also start in February. Any Member who may know someone interested in starting to play golf, please let them know about these classes.
Trainee Pro-Am
The OneFM 98.5 Mooroopna Trainee Pro-Am will be played Monday, February 18, with a shot gun start from 10am. If you would like to play, please enter via the Pro Shop or Click Here, alternatively please enter online via our web site.
Heat Policy
Due to the extreme heat wave, our Golf Course opening and closing times over the coming week will be is as follows:
TUESDAY:
Competition/Social play tee off 6.30am to 9am on both tees. Course closed after 1pm.
WEDNESDAY:
Competition/Social play tee off 6.30am to 9am. Course closed after 1pm. Please note there will be NO Twilight/Skins Competitions.
THURSDAY:
Competition/Social play tee off 6.30am to 9am. Course closed after 1pm.
FRIDAY:
Social play tee off 6.30am to 9am on both tees. Course closed after 1pm.
SATURDAY:
Competition - Normal competition time sheet. - Social golf available after 1pm.
SUNDAY:
Golf course open all day for social play.
Any further updates will be placed on social media, our website and the Club app.

Tuesday Pennant
There was no Tuesday pennant due to the heat. This Tuesday, if the heat doesn't affect play again, Division 1 play Shepparton Golf away, Division 3 will play East Shepparton at Mooroopna Golf, Division 4 play Mooroopna at Mooroopna Golf and Division 5 play Shepparton Golf at Mooroopna Golf.
Saturday Pennant
Division 2 were defeated by Shepparton Golf 74 shots, 0 points to 109 shots, 18 points. They are eighth on the ladder and play Tallygaroopna this week. Division 5 defeated Violet Town 94 shots, 16 points to 53 shots, 0 points. They are sixth on the ladder and play Tallygaroopna this week. Division 6 were defeated by Hill Top 63 shots, 2 points to 68 shots, 14 points. They play Kyabram this week.
