The Advocate Update

Celebrating life, nourishing the spirit, and inspiring a commitment to justice
THIS MONTH: TRUST
The practice of commitment and faith in a love that won’t let us go.
“A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch but on its own wings.”
- Charlie Wardle
THIS SUNDAY
Rev. David McFarland
What is worthy of your trust? When does trust work best? Who or what on Earth—or elsewhere— do you trust? Challenged by mystery, greeted in the new year by possibility, this month we embark on an exploration of what it means to be a people of trust.

Wintry Weather Advisory: WE'LL BE OPEN!

Regardless of weather, we gather each Sunday for a 10:30am worship service. Even when the weather doesn't cooperate, Allegheny UU is open for worship every Sunday at 10:30am. The service format may be a little different, but we  strive to have a meaningful spiritual experience for anyone who wants or needs it. Your safety is important, too, so always do what's best for you, and if you can't make it and need support, reach out to our inreach team.
