2019 Membership Drive is  Open and Continuing

The good news is there are no price increases from OCHRS for 2019 memberships.  Our Bronze level membership of $125 is for those that do not belong to SHRM and our Silver level membership of $75 is for those that do belong to SHRM.  Both of these levels of membership pay for each monthly meeting luncheon which is normally $35.  The exception is the January legal update which has a higher meal cost of $49.  The Gold level membership is $350 and includes all the meals of the monthly chapter meetings (including January) and your membership.  This level of membership is great for those that attend the majority of the monthly meetings plus allows for the substitution of another HR professional if you cannot attend.  The Gold level membership is the same with or without a SHRM membership.  

Visit  http://www.ochrs.org and click on the orange membership block in the middle of the home page to get started with the membership  process.  All major credit cards are accepted for payment.  If you already belong, you will login into your existing account and update your file.  If you are joining for the first time, you'll be asked for some basic information to set up your account.  You'll find a place to share your SHRM number and any HR certifications that you have obtained.  

If you have problems logging in to renew or you need an invoice or W9 from OCHRS for your membership, please email your request to admin@ochrs.org.  For those renewing by check, the address is OCHRS, P O Box 21471, Oklahoma City, OK 73156.  If you just want to give your credit card number by phone, send an email with your telephone number to admin@ochrs.org and you will be contacted promptly.

Professional Certification Prep Study Course Set from OCHRS

This February 11th OCHRS will again offer a low-cost opportunity to study for one of the professional certification examinations.  OCHRS was recognized in December 2018 as a SHRM Learning System Champion.  Registration for this class is  open at bit.ly/STUDY11  OCHRS will again offer the SHRM Learning System books at a discounted price.  If you are ordering a set of the 2019 SHRM Learning System books from OCHRS, please register and pay by January 28th to allow sufficient time for the 2019 SHRM Learning System books to arrive before the first class.

What else is new?  OCHRS will be meeting at BancFirst Insurance in north Oklahoma City.  Thank You, Trish Bennett, for making these facilities available to OCHRS.
