Dear LEAD Supporter,

As we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream, I sit at my desk with hope, courage and tenacity to fight for our girls! Dr. King said, “The time is always right to do what’s right.” At LEAD, time is of the essence. Every year a girl gets a year older, faces another challenge and potentially falls through the gap, never able to realize her dreams or achieve her goals.

We are on a mission and won’t stop until our girls know they too can dream big and accomplish what they set their minds to. Brittany wants to be an attorney. Syberia wants to be a business owner in Forsyth County. Dasia wants to be a family psychology. Kaitlyn wants to be chief of police.

Should their reality be different because of their neighborhood, their income, their skin color, their parents’ education levels?

We have a dream that LEAD will continue to serve, empower and uplift girls! Consider giving $21 in honor of Dr. King and to make sure we are able to serve another 3 years.

Together we stand for our girls!
